Lady Reign Worlds Showcase
ICC Nationals (Notthingham) - March 2023
Sapphire (Junior 3) and Lady Reign (International Open 5) competed at their first ever ICC Nationals. Both teams put out a good performance. Sapphire placed second in their division and Lady Reign came sixth in an extremely competitive division.
FC Circus Spectacular (Sheffield) - March 2023
We had a fantastic time at our second whole program competition of the season with 12 out of 15 of our teams placing in the top 3 in their division. Silver, our senior level 2 team, also received a grand champions award for being the highest scoring team across 2 halls on the Sunday afternoon. We are super proud of all of the hard work that has gone in to these routines and are exciting for our final push toward the final competition of the season in May.
Legacy Stand Strong (Newcastle) - February 2023
We had a great time at our first whole program competition of the season with 9 out of 13 of our teams placing in the top 3 in their division. Scarlett, our junior level 2 team, also received a grand champions award for being the highest scoring team during their Sunday session. This is a fantastic start to the season for all of our teams and we are so proud of you all.
BCA Worlds Showdown (Worcester) - January 2023
Lady Reign (IO5) travelled to Worchester to compete for the first time this season. They attended a competition where they go against all UK teams who are also going to worlds this year. We did not have the perfect run we had hoped for but we did have lots of great moments during our routine and we came together as a team and demonstrated lots of resilience and everyone gave it their all until the end of the routine. Our girls managed to come 16 out of 22 teams - they were able to place higher than teams who had already attended worlds even though it was their first year attending the competition. Without the deductions we could have placed even higher - our aim for the rest of the season is to be able to hit zero and perform a routine without any mistakes.
Christmas Party 2022
Friends of Lazer Cheer hosted a Christmas part fundraiser at the gym. The children got to meet Santa, play some games and have a disco. Thank you to all athletes and parents who supported this event through attending and also to members of FOLC and athletes and coaches who gave up their time to help with the organisation and running of the event.

This is the first time this event is being hosted in the UK and is an amazing opportunity for our athletes. Over 3 days the top 50 athletes under 15 years old in the UK will train together and hopefully learn new drills and skills in their tumbling.
Huge well done to our athletes Lacey Hanson, Rose Harris and Ella-Mae Harton. We are so proud of this achievement.

Lady Reign had a whole week of hosting camps for our younger athletes and all the money raised by these have gone directly toward the costs of the uniforms! Camps included; Open gym, Stunt with Lady Reign privates and Fun day camps and they were so successful that they raised enough money to cover the entire cost of the uniforms for all 11 athletes - Well done everyone! And a huge thank you to all athletes and families who have supported these girls on their Worlds journey.

Thank you to everyone who donated items to our nearly new fundraiser, to those who gave up their time to help sort our hundreds of items before the event, to those who volunteered to run the sale event and then also to those people who helped to clear up everything after! We are so grateful for all the support toward the fundraising events so far this year and we would like to celebrate that this nearly new sale has just raised £1010 toward new uniforms.

ICE Blizzard February 2022
BCA Winter Weekender December 2021
We did it !!!! ………after 21 long months we finally got to compete again and what a fantastic day it was.
There were definitely moments these last few weeks when I felt my stress levels couldn’t get any higher but seeing our Athletes out on that floor makes every second worthwhile. Every Athlete that was meant to compete made it to comp so at least for 1 day we beat Covid.
Thank you to parents for your continued support I know how much you have all missed comp day too but probably not the comp hangover. To our new Parents I hope you enjoyed your first comp and it wasn’t too daunting.
Team Parents thank you for getting our teams ready and organised for warmup it really does take the pressure off the coaches and we appreciate your help. As our programme continues to grow you are a vital piece of the puzzle between coaches and parents and we can not thank you enough.
Last, but definitely not least our amazing coaching team I certainly wouldn’t want to do this job without you all. From the bottom of my heart I can not thank you enough for your help not just this weekend but for everything you do for these kids. You all work so hard to give them the tools they need to succeed not just in cheer but in life and you genuinely care about every one of them. They are extremely lucky to have you all as role models.
Cheer isn’t just about the tumbles or the stunts it’s about family and caring for each other and knowing that you have a support network around you that will always be there no matter what. Seeing our Athletes grow in confidence and watching them blossom in to amazing young people is the best feeling ever. So Well Done everyone we are so happy with the results from our first comp of the season and can not wait to start working upgrades to our routines ready to compete again next year.

Virtual competition success
On 1st May 2020 Lazer Royalty took part in a virtual competition in the USA. This competition involved teams sending in a pre-recorded video of their routine and then they were all live streamed to competitors to watch and awards were given out at the end. Lazer Royalty won their division and also came away with two overall awards - Best stunts (of the whole competition) and Best Choreoraphy (of the whole competition) - we are extremely proud of the continued hard work you have all put in through lockdown and whilst we are unsure of what will happen with the future of this team, we know that every athletes future within Cheerleading is very bright!
|
On 25th April 2020 Lazer Royalty took part in their first ever virtual competition in the USA. Although Covid put an early stop to their competitive season they were still able to enjoy a unique experience going up against other teams virtually. All of the hard work they had put in through the season was worth it when they walked away being the champions in their division! We are super proud of all of you for your continued dedication and resilience during this challenging time.
|
We also competed our whole program in a virtual BCA competition so that all athletes could have they feeling of getting to finish off their competitive season. All of our teams did really well and it gave us a great boost to feel that we could get through covid despite all the challenges that it kept giving us.
Lazer Royalty were also lucky enough to receive a bid to the All Star World Championships in Florida in April 2022. These athletes have continued to prove time and time again just how strong they are as a team and how much they deserve to be competing in the USA. What a year 2020 has been for the ladies of Lazer Royalty!
